Just came across the ocurance of Customer is in Salesforce, but when we tried to bring over invoice, payments and credits from QuickBooks - Customer not found - but i can see it in my QuickBooks.

  • Its a Name issue. The name in QuickBooks may be slightly different than the one in Salesforce. To retiify:
    1. Run the SF Account utility to create a new customer from Salesforce to QuickBooks. This will result in creating a new Customer in QuickBooks with the right name.
    2. Run the Merge Customer function in QuickBooks, bringing the existing transactions from the old Customer to the new Customer.
    3. Rerun the SF Account utility, and this will re-set the binding - just in case
